Frequently Asked Questions

Shipping & Delivery

Q: How long will my order take to arrive?
A: Orders are usually dispatched within 1-2 business days from Melbourne. Standard delivery within Australia typically takes 2-5 business days depending on your location (longer for some regional locations). You’ll receive tracking details by email as soon as your order ships.

Q: How much is shipping?
A: Shipping for balance bikes and bundles is from $25, with smaller accessories like straps and hats from $9. Final shipping is calculated at checkout based on your postcode and what’s in your cart.

Returns & Exchanges

Q: What if my child doesn’t love their bike?
A: If your Threeve bike or gear doesn't hit, contact us within 7 days of delivery. As long as it’s in original condition and packaging, we’ll help with a return or exchange in line with our returns policy.

Q: What happens if something arrives damaged?
A: If your order arrives damaged or with missing parts, email us at info@threeve.com.au with photos and your order number, and we’ll sort it quickly with a replacement or solution.

Product & Sizing

Q: What age are Threeve balance bikes designed for?
A: Our balance bikes are designed for roughly 18‑month‑to‑4‑year‑olds. The best way to check is to measure your child’s inside leg and compare it with the seat‑height range on each product page.

Q: My child is small/large for their age – will a Threeve bike fit?
A: Every product page includes a seat‑height range. If your child’s inside leg is within that range (with a little room to grow), the bike should fit. If you’re unsure, send us a quick message with their measurements.

Q: Do I need tools to assemble the bike?
A: Assembly is minimal. Your bike arrives mostly pre‑assembled with clear instructions, and tools included. You just need to attach the front wheel, seat, and handlebars, and adjust seat and handlebars according to your rider's height. The only tool you'll need that doesn't come in the box is a bike pump to inflate the tyres.

Safety

Q: Do your helmets meet Australian safety standards?
A: Yes. Our DRS kids helmets are tested and certified to Australian standards (AS/NZS 2063), so they’re suitable for bikes, scooters and skate use.

Q: Does my child really need a helmet on a balance bike?
A: We always recommend a helmet any time your child is on wheels—whether it’s a balance bike, scooter or pedal bike.
